Keepmumsane, do you know if you can get giants where you are? They take a loong time to get to their full size, but they're so worth it!

ya, pretty sure i need one of those ! i wont have to worry about her eggs being fertile in the bantam coop!! i have a bantam roo that is half the size of a serama, he is a midget. cant wait for a camera. he is from a black tailed white jap. hen and a mille fleur roo and he is one forth the size of the hen. can you imagine him next to a giant?lol

Haha, I wouldn't worry about fertile eggs, either. Although, I wouldn't put it past the little guy to try. My bantam cochin prefers his big girls over his little ones.

well, i finally did a head count last night. way more than i realized. all together, babies, guineas ,hens and roos=75

Wait a second... guineas don't count in chicken math! Subtract the guineas, and I'd say you have room for a few more birds.

i have 2 large coops and the way i see it i need another one. i have a 12 by 16 with a loft, no run that houses 10 guinea , 3 lg. hens and a polish roo. they all free range. the other coop i made is 8 by 20 then turns into another 8 by 16 . its in a l shape and the coop part is 8 by 12 . so how am i gonna squeeze 65 chickens in there? the new tolbunt i have is BIG ! where does he go?
