Possible Guinea Eggs in "Quail" Batch?

I wouldn't mind a little snow. The chickens don't care what kind of weather we're having, and the silkies look terrible running around in the mud and gunk!

and then some! if it can go wrong it will. stumbled to the coops and my male guinea is bleeding under both wings. what am i supposed to with that? can u belive one of my bantams wants to start sitting? its like 10-15 degrees out ! whats the matter with them ?

Bleeding under both wings? Did he come down on something while flying and injure himself maybe? I wouldn't worry about it unless he is bleeding badly.

And yes, birds can go broody in the dead of winter. Crazy birds!

i cant imagine how he did it. i have a loft in their coop with a few 2 by 4s across and then a ladder and small shelf by the window. they have been locked up

lol, im past that!! it looks like a big dog took a big bite. there even on both sides under the wings and he is cock of the walk in there. i didnt bring him in because i figure if he gets warm he will bleed more. i dont know how i would bandage it

Wings are tricky to bandage. My mom handles that kind of injury. Is he looking healthy other than his wings? Is he eating and drinking, etc.?
