Possible Guinea Eggs in "Quail" Batch?

I'm pretty serious about getting some guineas in the spring. My mom isn't too keen on the idea, she thinks they're mean, lol. She wants turkeys instead.

I know someone that has turkeys and they're getting rid of them because they keep dying. Not sure I would want them, lol.

turkeys are the mean ones. tell your mom i have had guineas for 3 yrs or so and they are not mean but cheyen they are wild animals. you can cuddle away when they are little but they are gonna do what they do. starkasm has them sitting on her shoulders and i have never seen that but her pics show it can be done. i hand feed mine and they are comfortable with me in their mists but my son or someones comes out they dont know well they raise cain. it really depends on how much time you can spend with them

I think she's just being biased, granny. She told me she thinks they're ugly. Lol, she won't stand for birds that aren't pretty. To be honest, I wouldn't mind a big, handsome tom wandering around the property, either. He could be a nice decoration.

I think I'm just going to waltz around ebay and look for hatching eggs. Who knows, maybe I'll find something.

i remember when i was little going to someones house and they had a turkey loose and it chased me! i was terrified. lol mom,mom,help me, its gonna kill me !!! and she was laughing at me. i have never been around another turkey well, except at thanksgiving, and im about sure if i run up on one loose i will act the same way i did so many yrs. ago no thank you. i will keep my turkey on the table with the bread stuck up his butt...
