Granny, I have no idea. I've never hatched something so small. Even the chukars were bigger than this, lol. We will have to wait and see.

Top hatters are doing good. We have got a TON of polish! Most white crested black, and a few buff and white. We have two we aren't really sure of. They look like polish but they're silver and brown and they have beards. We're still researching what they could be.

The d'uccles are doing the best! So far, we have lost two polish and one hudan. We haven't lost a single d'uccle, and they're so cute and friendly! They fall right asleep when you hold them, and they don't throw a fit.

Pics coming in a few hours. My sister spend a few days out, and she's at work right now. Still gotta wait for her and her camera phone.

beards on hens maybe they need some extra estrogen. Something to control the beard growth. LOOK MA I MADE A FUNNY

Ran to the bank at 10:15 am and was still -15 degrees below zero. Dogs broke the side of the pet door and now have a giant hole on the side. To teach them a lesson I have shut the door and now they have to sit with their legs crossed until I am ready to let them out. OMG such sad faces.

They died just after they got here. We're thinking it was probably the long ride in a dark box with 30 of their friends, lol. They were too far gone by the time they got here for us to do anything about it. Poor little things.

That's a risk you have to take when you order birds. There are some nasty people who work with USPS. You never can tell if the box was shaken, thrown, etc. You can only cross your fingers and hope to hear cheeping when you get to the PO.

i have been working my butt off to heal up this sick polish roo and now that he is better he wont/cant do that little thing roosters are supposed to do. perhaps the hen needs a shave? or maybe they make Viagra for roosters too.
