Possible Guinea Eggs in "Quail" Batch?

I had one guinea hatch a day late. The other 2 guineas would grab him by his legs and drag him like they we're bringing him home for dinner. Not very nice. So he was put in with the chukars rather than become the mean guineas dinner.

I still want guineas. Mom won't let it happen, though, lol. She'd rather have turkeys.

I love turkeys too!! Mine are super tame and the star of any barbeque! And not by being cooked!! They love to hang with the people and lay by the fire pit. They're awesome!!

We got our two about a week or so after 5 red star chicks. They all grew up together and still hang and sleep together. They aren't mean at all. They're sweet.

I read you have to keep turkeys separate from chickens if you have toms.

does it matter hen or tom? and how big are yours because i remember the one chasing me as being about 6ft. tall.

cheyan, we have to remember this is coming from someone that has guineas perch on her shoulders, she is just good with them.

I read that toms might get a little aggressive with chicken hens, and that can be a bad thing considering the size difference.

There were turkeys at the state fair last year, and I'd say they were about 2 1/2 ft. tall and at least four feet long. They were huge!

ya, so they probably have spurs the size of Texas. NO THANKS !! if i want a pet like that i will get a pit or doberman, or whatever kinds of dogs they claim is vicious . a lab did a # on mine.
