The rubber stuff I have I don't think would melt, it's been in the brooder. But what if it had some chemical or coating or something that asphyxiated them (

I've used plenty of cheap plastic liners without issue. Even one that smelled a little rubbery.

I have my quail in a rabbit hutch. If you let them out to free range they will be gone for sure. They are quite good fliers.

I have my own flock in a pen for them for pets and eggs. I don't eat them. I often sell their chicks. The eggs I am incubating now are on request for someone wanting to start their own laying flock.

I have my quail in a rabbit hutch. If you let them out to free range they will be gone for sure. They are quite good fliers.

Yeah. You'd only free range a quail once. lol.
