The rubber stuff I have I don't think would melt, it's been in the brooder. But what if it had some chemical or coating or something that asphyxiated themthat rubber shelf liner you can get at dollar stores wont melt

I have my quail in a rabbit hutch. If you let them out to free range they will be gone for sure. They are quite good fliers.pretty sure my phones smarter than me! and i still dont know what you do with those quail? pets eggs eat them? do they have to live in a cage their whole life?
