Possible Guinea Eggs in "Quail" Batch?

Lol. We are going to look at the goats we are buying tomorrow, and picking them up next weekend. The fence isn't complete yet, but it won't take but another day or two. We are definitely also getting a fainting nanny.

I'll have to take some more pics of Jackdaw and Magpie, the 2 little frizzle mix chicks I just hatched. I took these earlier. Jack was not happy alone waiting for Magpie to be ready to move to the brooder so I had him in my shirt and he decided he was going to browse the web with me.

keepmumsane avatar, your chickens are beautiful mine must be polish then, im thinking white and buff to get this ivory color. i can see them winning a lot of ribbons

an occupational hazard..
..its the little silvanian toy car, filled with the kiddlets easter chicks, driven by a blue penguin..( its always the penguin starts things in the toy box ) ..who knows where they were going, but they were headed for the front door!

one morning I tripped over a small walnut shell boat adrift in the patch of blue on my living room rug.. with its cargo of pom pom creatures ( complete with googly eyes)

so not a real bird amongst them..my girls occasionally pop in to see if the stir fry is for them, but can't drive yet.

Guys, Moose is acting lethargic! He's not cheeping, and he just falls back down when I stand him up! He was fine this morning, but when I got back from church he was like this. He's been drinking save-a-chick all week, and getting proper protein. Could he be too cold? The thermometer in his brooder says 80, but I'm not sure if that's right. It feels more like room temperature in there. What should I do?

Oh dear,
Are you sure he's getting enough protein? grind up meal worms in his food.
Is he eating or drinking at all?
If it's only room temp then yes he may be cold.
Try warming him up.
