Possible Guinea Eggs in "Quail" Batch?

are these native to where you live? i saw one for sale here once. wish i had bought it but, are you ready? im on this post and i know absolutely NOTHING about quail. i honestly thought it was a guinea egg. the dinosaur egg im referring to .

Gambels are native to the deserts out west here. When I lived down in the desert years ago, I would feed them everyday. I loved to watch them come out from under the bushes, in single file, tassle top knots bobbling as they walked. LOL They have to prettiest call too. I am up in the mountains now where Blue Scale and Montezuma run wild.

As for being here and not knowing anything....well, you have to start somewhere. Hang around here long enough, and eventually you will know everything!

LOL....yep in no time you will be the quail pro of the quail section! We will have to elect you president.

Hmmm....lets see.

We will have to work on that. Till then, keep hanging out in the quail section and learning more about quail. :)
