Possible Guinea Eggs in "Quail" Batch?

They may very well be 300 bucks rare. Especially the swedish flowers. We have a swedish flower rooster, and we've been looking for a girlfriend to match him for almost a year now. No one likes parting with breeding age hens, lol.

I'm planning on breeding him with my lavender orpington, just to see how that looks. I haven't bred him with anything yet, but he's a looker. He'd make the most money with his own kind, but if the pullet's pretty enough, she's easily sellable. When I breed, I breed for both function and looks. I'm hoping whatever comes from mixing them will be as broody as an orpington, and as pretty as a swedish.

I think they'd look pretty together. Virginia isn't the best place to buy chickens. We usually have to ship ours from somewhere else. It makes shopping a lot harder.

i mixed my rir hens with a buff polish roo to increase polish egg laying and decrease the top hat enough for them to free range. talk about some funky looking chickens. lol the hen is single combed and the roo has a row of about 4 . i dont know where that came from.

We don't have amish. Virginia is good for farming, but you really have to look hard for someone who has a chicken farm. Especially someone with "fancy" chickens, lol.
