Possible Guinea Eggs in "Quail" Batch?

just recandled my eggs. took 7 out 6 not fertilized 1 blood ring leaving 31 good embryos. and here on day 8, can you belive it, i can see them moving !!! that is way cool . hope it stays that way. it would be a good hatch

Haha, you're a bit late to the party. They were chukar eggs, and only two hatched. Sadly, both chicks passed away. Right now I've got quail in the incubator, so it's a bit more on track for this section of the site, lol.

i have been keeping an eye on my tolbunt frizzle and i dont think he knows what to do. there is something wrong with him. he wont climb a ladder or even try to perch even 4 in. off the ground. hes afraid of heights ! lol i dont think he will be a daddy, he wont"go for the gold". this person i found that had a hen also had hatching eggs and , dont quote me, i think they were 100 dollars each. was thinking about shaving his feet and see if it will make a difference. have to wait for a little warmer weather though. eggs hear go for 150 to 250 a dozen, I personally charge 150 for 12 lg or extra lg eggs, 2.00 for jumbos, and 1.50 for 18 medium/sm/peewee/pullet eggs. Also around here if the eggs are white people don't think they are farm fresh. How in the world do you shave a chicken's feet???? Electric razor, disposable, or straight edge??

That stretchy bandage that sticks to itself worked great for spraddle. Easy peasy. I cut up one into teeny strips.you just wrap the lower legs, because it sticks to itself, it doesnt hurt.
On the rabbit story, oldest child wanted to play my facebook games and read my status about whether to tell them she died or not..I didnt know. She asked me what happened to Rosie. To my credit, I told the truth, them she said she knew. Gave me a big hug. Smallest child still doesnt know, but ill tell her.

why, didnt you know? you can shave anything ! lol i meant trim, with scissors .

I have a? Have a pair, hen and roo quail, lay every day but all the eggs look like they have cracks in them! How to test with out braking them.
