Classroom quail, ducklings can have normal chick starter or layer feed for a while, but it has to be non-medicated. The medication they use in chicken feed can seriously mess with a duckling's immune system.

So sorry about spazz there granny.

Pipping should be soon right Cheye ???

Gonna be awhile before I walk upright after reading about what they did to your dog there sub. UFFDA !!!

How is your mom doing there Granny.

Well I no longer have one of the roads to my farm. Total wash out from all the snow melt and flooding. Also most of the fence barbed wire is gone as the ice bergs came across the road. Better then they guy across the road tho the bergs bent all his metal fence poles over flat about 500 feet of it is gone. Got out there a couple days after the flood and took a look at the icebergs they were still at least a foot thick and some about 20 ft by 10 ft around. Good thing I haven't gotten my yaks yet. Going out Monday to get the brooder room ready and re-introduce the roosters to the hens. Have 70 odd hens so gonna put 7 roosters in with them and then guess the extra 3 or 4 are going to the barn kitty's.

Should I skin the chickens before feeding them to the cats so they don't think they can go and help themselves to a chicken dinner????

I gave my cats a plucked 4 weeks old check carcass...they just wanted to play with it, not eat it. So I fed it to a snake instead.

I hear peeping! I only looked in through the glass, so there's only two pips that I can see so far. I misbehaved and candled a few days ago, though. There are at least ten or twelve ready to hatch (hopefully)!
