Possible Guinea Eggs in "Quail" Batch?

awww, how many eggs went in lock down?

I didn't wanna candle too often because I wanted to keep the humidity in, so all 20 of them made it to lockdown. It looks like only 8-10 are viable, and so far seven total have pipped. Two have hatched, so I've got five more on the way. Man, once they start zipping they don't stop! Lol. .I look away for 10 minutes, and the second one is already out.

Lol, these are the chukar eggs. I think they only come in one size. Tiny!

This guy was out at about 6am.


This one hatched about half an hour ago!


This one is working on it. Go little guy, go! Lol.


And we have ANOTHER pip! They're popping out like popcorn, haha.

omg, they are sooooo cute !!! i know they are chukars but i dont know how big they are because i have never seen one. lol half the size of bantams??

Yeah, half the size of bantams sounds about right. They're so tiny! I'm scared I'll break their little legs when I pick them up, lol.

wow, i was noticing that the egg looked like the same width as the water reservoir.
