Possible Guinea Eggs in "Quail" Batch?

One of these poor things has a gimpy leg. I'm not sure how I'm gonna fix it, it's twisted at the hock.

Well, I made a splint and a boot, because his toes are curled, too. Poor little thing. I am not sure if a splint will help, but here's hoping.

i read about that, they set it and it pops back out and they set it, you get the idea. some times works . i will see if i can find it.

Well, it looks likes he's hobbling a bit better, but if I need to set his joint back in...

I hop eI don't hurt him. I need to research some more, too.

So far from what I'm reading, it's pretty hard to treat. His legs are so tiny, I'm afraid of making it worse if I try and set it back again. We'll just have to see. I'll splint his leg more correctly and give him some poly-vi-sol.

Gimpy is looking healthy despite the obvious. I tried popping his tendon back into place last night, but I couldn't bring myself to apply enough pressure. I didn't want to hurt him. One of them looks a bit lethargic, so it's sugar water for a while. I've got just one more that won't come out so it looks like I'm gonna be doing an assisted hatch today. What a mess!
