Possible ideas why my pullet/hen is ill

Texas if she doesn’t drink or eat by the evening, yes, most likely.

I keep hoping she will give a heave ho and snap out of it.

But of course I don’t want her suffering forever

Unfortunately she is not better.

Her crop is empty, still has a soft belly with no bumps that I can feel.

She is not drinking or eating yet this morning.

Last night she had poos all watery.

She now lays to one side with her eyes closed.

I can’t see any reason for her change.

The rest of the girls are doing well.

I can only think she has a reproductive problem.

She is the only one not laying. She has not grown out her comb and waddles. Wasn’t squatting.

I associated her difference to that she might have been younger.

Haven’t given up hope but looking grim this am
Did you feel inside her vent about 1-2" to see if you felt an egg?
I'm very sorry that she has not improved:hugs
My best "guess" would be a reproductive problem or trouble passing an egg as well.

If you do decide to put her down, getting a necropsy will hopefully give you some answers. Kiki gave you the link for your lab.
Alternatively, if you are up to it, you can perform an informal necropsy yourself. Take photos as you do. Look in the abdomen, at the internal organs, etc. Sometimes we can help you spot the problem.

She is now drinking so I am still hopeful

And stood up on her own but only for a little.

She must not like our vibes lol

Yes yesterday she got my finger past the second knuckle no egg

I am going to give her calcium again and a belly message.

I will stick with her whatever the result will be

I do have a question,

If it was an external force making her sick wouldn’t I see symptoms in the other girls ( I have only hens) ?

All the others are just fine (knock on wood)

Try soaking a small amount of those pellets in water and mix them with a scrambled egg.
