Possible IDs for these breeds....

#1 From the local Maryville Co-Op. She is suppossed to be a silver laced wyandotte, which I'm assuming is incorrect. The only other breeds they were selling were buff orpingtons and araucanas. She is extremely outgoing and the first to hop out of the brooder when I take the cover off.


#2 From a purebred bantam straight run at Tractor Supply. We think he may be a rooster. He's very aggressive and will run up and peck our hand when we put it in the brooder.


#3 This little one is 3 wks old and itty bitty. From our Sevier Co-Op. I believe they get their orders from Cackle Hatchery.


#4 Also from Sevier Co-Op. 3 weeks old...very active! We've even named him/her Sassy Pants!


#5 Last of the 3 wk group from Sevier Co-Op. Very calm and sweet. (leaning toward maybe a porcelian d'uccle?)


#6 Either part of a brown egg layer assortment or a Buckeye from My Pet Chicken...(one of our two brown chicks passed away and we don't know if we still have the buckeye, of if that was the one who passed)



#7 Part of a bantam assortment at Tractor Supply. This one is pretty big for a bantam and has very fluffy feathered feet. Barred cochin maybe?

Very tiny (prob a bantam), calm and sweet...


#9 another "Mystery Hatch" from My Pet Chicken...a little larger chick than the one above, but not as large as the ones in the "brown egg layer" mix.

Looks like an Australorp or Jersey Giant. Definitely not a Silver Laced Wyandotte or Buff Orpington.

Possibly a Buff Brahma bantam.

I agree with wyandottes7.

The buff feather-legged bantams could be either buff brahmas or mille fleur d'uccles. Right now I think your first buff one is a buff brahma bantams and the other two mille fleur d'uccles, but I would still wait a few weeks to say for sure which they are.
