Hello! I have a Buff rock (I believe) almost one year old. Acting normal: eating, drinking, pooping and laying eggs. I just noticed it today during a routine bottom and foot check- although it’s been about 2 months since the last one. I believe it is an ingrown feather? There is one on either side of her vent. She seems healthy otherwise.
Her poop seems normal.
Vet not possible, I will do whatever I can for her. She sleeps in a coop with pine shaving bedding. Large dry run with 5 other birds.
I looked in the threads for something similar but the one case that looked like mine was never resolved so I thought to reach out, thanks!!
*Edited to say she is so fluffy she does had trouble keeping clean back there.
