Today I went to check the Hatcher, and this little one was in there!
The parent group has three possible sires, all black silver French Marans, and a slew of possible dams, including black silver, blue silver, blue splash, and mottled from a few possible dams. Also, I had a pullet hatch last year from this group that was snow white, so there's probably recessive white in the mix. Two others before this one look to be white as well, although last week's white chick has slightly bluish tinge to it. The first white chick is solid light yellow. These would be silver based whites, hopefully. Is this a really light blue chick, or what? The sires have no blue, but possible hidden recessive white. Opinions?
