Possible Lice or mites

I believe that the root of our loss and issue is either lice or mites. I'm not really sure which one or what the best steps to take are going to be. I've secluded the two hens that are seemingly fine and will be treating the coop tomorrow. I've had to bring the remaining two in as they were very weak and lethargic. I'm almost certain they wouldn't have made it without the immediate care and attention I provided, especially since it was three of them at the start of this and one didn't make it. He had lost all feathers on half of his neck and his entire face. Now my issue is that I've brought them in the house and have held them without protection for myself now releasing the issue possibly being pests. What steps should I take to ensure they haven't gotten in my home or on myself and on the dog? Are any of my concerns even likely? This is a very new issue for me, I haven't ever lost any to a sickness or pests, only to full grown predators. I'd like to do as much as I can tonight to resolve this as well as have a game plan for the morning TIA

I am not 100% sure, but I belive that most common types of lice and mites that become problematic with fowl do not prey on people or dogs. Do you have any proof of parasites, or just suspicions? At night, take a flashlight and look in the feathers around their vents to see if you can spot any bugs or eggs. Also at night, look on the undersides of your roosts for small, red or black bugs. Mites are most active at night and tend to hang out under roosts and in the "seams" of your coop where there are tiny cracks where the wood joins.

I thought this was lice or eggs but it look nothing like either Is this something I should be concerned with
