Possible Marek's, please help (Long post)

Poor guy has not had a dust bath in a week. They sent the poop culture off to a lab for further examination. Results pending.

Let me share a little about my experiences with Marek's... I've seen it here, and a friend has it as his place, but what I haven't seen at either place is more than one sick at any one time. Yes, there are different strains, so you could just have a nasty strain there.

What I have seen here are multiple peafowl the neurological Marek's symptoms, but as far as I know, peafowl don't get Marek's. In each case with the sick peafowl I was able to save them by providing supportive care along with numerous medications.

You can also check out the "Marek's threads," on BYC, you may find your birds have different symptoms etc. Or if it is Marek's how others treated their coop, run, property etc. It is said that Marek's is everywhere. Some folks have re-started their breeding program using only healthy survivors of the disease- and seem to have achieved some level of success.

What supportive care and medications do you recommend?
