Possible Red Pyle Ameraucana project?

I would work on producing quality buff birds. That is just about all you can do. If you hatch any birds similar the bottom male- you could produce a black tailed red or a white tailed red from a similar maleand you must also hatch a female that was red with white in the tail and wings. It would take a few generations but I think it could be accomplished.

Hi,
It is my chickens. I am not used white rooster long time, just show what can be in genetics. He is the great-grandfather. I am decided call them
Chestnuts and Snow

Cocks bright, hens - lighter.

Hello;
I purchased from this same breeder. Some of them seem to carry some variations of the "Red Pyle" Gene. Some of the birds are very docile and some of the cockerels are wicked with their spurs! What was the outcome of your project? I do know a breeder who has Red Pyle in California.

A couple weeks ago I bought these eggs from a lady cause the parent birds perked my interest. They where Ameraucanas who looked to be carrying some buff and Red Pyle genes. I don't know if she was aiming for the variety but they I sure as heck love me some Red Pyles! lol They been in the incubator for a couple weeks now, due to hatch on the 26'th. I'll keep you guys updated but until then here's some of the parents. Lots of hens and 2 roosters.
