Possible Roo? Or too early to tell?

That’s funny because I knew they didn’t appear to look like any Wyandottes I had ever seen! That is just what the hatchery labeled them as! Do you know what they could be?
They are either Australorp or Jersey Giant. Both look very similar so to tell the difference you can check the bottoms of their feet. Australorps have white soles and Jerseys have yellow.
 
Wyandottes’ rose comb gene sometimes throws a single comb. So a purebred single comb wyandotte is actually quite common!
I wouldn't say it's incredibly common but it does happen. But there are other indicators here that mean the chicks aren't Wyandottes.
