Around 3 weeks ago when the chick first hatched I noticed she was shouldering signs of spraddle leg and had thought that I’d fixed it. But just recently I’ve noticed that her right leg extends outward, at first she would fall over, but still be able to walk. She’s now unable to walk. Is this fixable or is it too late??

It looks like a leg bone deformity, possibly valgus deformity. There is no treatment, although some chicks can get around enough to get food and water. Many have to be culled because they can’t get to food. Valgus deformity is the opposite of varus deformity, and can occur on one or both legs. Twisted leg could also be a possibility. Unfortunately, these are common in chickens.
