Possible sick peachick

Pics
How exciting. And thank you for that explanation. There are so many different kinds. It gets a bit confusing. My week old yelliw chick just started getting black spots on its shoulders. And over today you can see darker patterns starting to show. It is incredible how they change throughout the day. Lol. Your hen is beautiful! Oh and only one mom is caring for the chicks. The other mom wants nothing to do with them. She picks at them if they come too close but stays away from them as much as she can.
It is still early enough that she may decide to lay another clutch.

I thought you all would appreciate these, since we were talking about how good the peacock is as a father. The one chick rides their backs through the pen. Lol

Wow, they are fabulous photos. What a special peacock you have! The peachicks look like they are thriving. ❤️
They really are. Even the ones in the brooder. The yellow one will be 2 weeks old tomorrow and is getting more color each day and loves to fly. The brown one is very vivid in color and is trying to learn your fly now too. The older one mothers it. It is cute. I am proud after everything I went through to see them thrive so far. They are amazing! 😊
