Good Morning,
I'm very new to raising chickens and this was my first hatch of chicks so please forgive my silly questions and most likely incorrect use of terms.

I have a little chick who has been a bit of a project since it's pipped (I've named it Squishy)

Squishy had trouble hatching he was malpositioned and then I think he was shrink wrapped mid zip. I waited till all the chicks were hatched and then assisted after about 48-50-ish hours of him being stuck in the same position.

He was born with a curled foot that i was able to correct with a bandaid for a few days. Squishy walks normal, chirps, and eats and drinks(and poops) with all the other chicks no problem.

However I noticed that he is much smaller than the other chicks and his head is tucked back over his chest (maybe his neck is shorter than normal?) like he's got wry neck and chest his is puffed out, maybe a full crop? (he's got a Squishy bubble on his chest that seems larger than the other chicks).
From what I understand usually chicks with wry neck can't stand or walk well.

I've started giving Squishy some vitamin E and Poly Vi Sol yesterday.

Any thoughts of what else it might be.

Yes, a picture will help. My best advice is to try what you can or euthanize. I almost always try when a chick is... and sometimes am rewarded with a nice healthy bird. However---most of the time my efforts are in vain. Be prepared for this and try to think of the situation as a learning experience for you.

This is Pablo; a two month old frizzled serama bantam.

He was an assisted hatch.
He did not thrive.
He has had eye infections twice.
One infection resulted in temporary blindness and a cyst that was half the size of his head.
He has just recovered from a respiratory infection caused by wet and chill (severe storm and a power outage that lasted 5 days).
For the last couple days he has finally become a happy, healthy, thriving chick.
For two months it has been day to day; always expecting to find him dead.
Yes, I think it's almost always worth trying.

Actually, now that I think about it Pablo is much more than 2 months old. While he looks like two months he is closer to 4. Growth was very slow at first. Serama hens care for their chicks about three weeks then wean them. To deal with this Pablo was given to each new mom that hatched chicks; at least three different hens.

Some pictures of Squishy. His head is cocked back over his chest. Cute little guy. Has no problem eating/drinking/pooping.
