I hatched a few quail about 2 days ago, and I noticed one seemed to be weak. It had been quite lively just the day before so I think it may be sick. Any ideas?

Unsure of the temp but the chicks don’t chirp a lot so it should be pretty good and they eat gamebird starter with cayenne pepper powder and use aspen bedding or something I forgotPics? Can you upload a video to YouTube then post a link here?
What is the temperature at chick level on the warm side of your brooder?
The cool side?
What are you feeding them?
How many chicks are there?
What type of bedding are you using?
I think I’ve identified the issue. I noticed it trying to poop but it wasn’t able to poop. I checked the vent and found a little thing stuck and took it out but he still hasn’t pooped. Any way to fix this?I'm guessing that the chicks are not bunching up or spreading out and laying stretched out?
You should probably stop with the cayenne pepper. If they're getting a balanced diet, there is no need for anything else. They are also very small, and while small amounts won't cause any harm, too much may. I have researched this before, and have not been able to find any reputable studies showing benefits of feeding it to them and some showing harm.
That being said, this may have nothing to do with your chick's health. Do you have any Nutri-Drench? That may give it an added boost. Boiled, crushed egg yolk may also help. It also possible that there is just something wrong with the little and it may fail to thrive.
I used to feed my previous batch of quail chicks yhe same thing but with thistle seeds in it as well and I never had an issue like thisI'm guessing that the chicks are not bunching up or spreading out and laying stretched out?

A warm epsom salt bath may help. With a chick it is very important to make sure it doesn't get chilled, so you'll want to make sure it gets right under the heat lamp when it's done.I looked into it a little, and learned that warm baths can help. I also saw that epsom salt in it can help more? Can you confirm?
