Possibly sick peachick - poo pic

I'm wondering if maybe the first poo I took in wasn't entirely fresh and maybe a fly or gnat laid something in it? The second sample which was negative was a combo straight from both their droppings right after they hit the deck!

They're feeling VERY well today. Both are eating voraciously. Nut is super randy, displaying like crazy and trying to get on top of his sister. Coco was helping me with my yoga by nipping at my moles and carrying around the washcloth I brought it to wipe up poo is (it was clean at that point).

I managed to lure them onto the scale with parsley. They're both around 1800g. I think they're 16 - 17 weeks old.

Holding off for now on the medication.

Here's a pic of one of their poos for good measure. And a pic of them snuggling.

Well, you guys are so right. They were just fine and last night Coco just got really sick. She's not moving, has yellow, liquid poo, won't drink or eat.

She had one poo with more content. I took a sample of Nut's and a sample of Coco's in and Coco's was negative, but Nut's showed eggs in the microscope. They said their closest guess is Tricostrongyle (guessing in the spelling) a type of round worm.

I have bird sulfa from the feed store on hand and was able to get a little down Coco using a syringe and Nut drank some of the water with the tablet in it. I also have the Goat Safeguard but I'm totally confused as to how much to give. It's the liquid 10%, not the paste. They're around 4lbs.

I hope I'm not to too late. I'm kicking myself. Grrrr.

Duh. I just saw Kathy's detailed measurement calculations. I think I was so scared to make a mistake that I didn't even see it. I feel so ill-equipped for this.

I was able to make a mash of mealworms, parsley, mash and .5ml safeguard and Nut ate that. So Nut is covered for the worming for today and I will repeat for 4 more days. Should I also do the bird sulfa for the next 7 days as directed on the bottle?

Coco will not eat or drink and now I'm having trouble getting her to open her beak to do the safeguard. She's just standing there looking miserable.

Have thy been living outside where chickens have been? With the yellow poop I worry they might have blackhead. Can you post some poop pictures? Will your vet sell you any metronidazole and Baytril?

It would be really helpful to know what type of roundworm they have. If it's cecal worms or large roundworms a one day Safeguard dose of 1/2 ml should do the trick.

There are no chickens in this area. Only peafowl. But, yes, they are outside a good portion of the day and they eat bugs, lizards, etc.

There is one avian vet here, but they won't see me until tomorrow afternoon.
