Thank you...she is such a sweet girl.Poor little thing. I hope she makes a full recovery.
pshaw chicken people aren't crazy. who told you that?Just updating everyone...Butterball has both eyes open today and wandered around a bit. She was much more uppity when I have her water tonight. Her strength is definitely returning!! You can still see how black and blue her right eye is. I think she can see OK, she went in and out of her little house today. Not eating or drinking on her own yet but we are making progress. Thank you again for all of your support and not thinking I was crazy for trying to save her!View attachment 1291208 View attachment 1291210
No eating or drinking on her own yet. She has had such a horrible trauma to her head so we decided not to tube feed her. We are getting fluids in by syringe and she is drinking a lot. She is also pooping a little every day so it looks like things are moving. She just opened two eyes yesterday and is supporting more weight and walking around. It will be a great day when she eats or drinks.Aaawww... Butterball! Just reading this thread for the first time. I am hopeful for a full recovery! How is her eating, drinking and pooping?
