Possum Update

Last night a possum thought he'd get smart and sneak some food from our outside dog, now the dog has a new toy. He'll play with it, tossing it up in the air like a rag dog till I grossed out and haul it off. They never stink though....

Little debbies oatmeal creme pies!!
I lost 20 hens and my rooster bling bling, may he crow in heaven, to some full grown opposums, I tried everything I could think of and didnt catch a one, one afternoon my 2 year old was "helping me set the traps" he dropped his snack and it got covered in dirt so I tossed it in the trap, BINGO!!!!! South Texas opposums cannot resist the allure of a little debbies oatmeal creme pie, I ended up bagging 4 grown females, 2 big males and 6 littler ones over a 2 week spree,

well possum 1 is gone but now there is a possum 2! geeze

one of my hens now has a limp cause she was bitten on her toe (it has healed tho)

damn possums!

everybody needs to just get 5 big dogs they keep everything away including humans
