Hey everyone. I'm really new to the site but couldn't wait to get in on some of the action here.
My chicken fancy began at Easter when I got 3 chicks for the
kids.
We now have 45!!!!

7 OEGB (2 are my oldest daughters)
8 cochin bantams
6 BTW japanese
4 golden sebrights
4 barred rock (my hubby claims)
5 black jersey giants (my sons)
3 red stars (youngest daughters)
6 silver polish
1 black wyandotte bantam (sons)
1 mixed breed hen (sons)

Besides chickens we also have 2 dogs, 1 cat, 1 iguana, and
4 aquariums filled with tropical fish

So far I breed and raise...
Blue laced red Wyandottes.... and I have a long ways to go, but I love them!
And for what I want to raise
GLW...true heritage that fit the SOP...I'm having a hard time finding them
RIR heritage as well.... I'm in love with that mahogany almost black color...an those almost flat backs
SLWs...because I'm crazy about wyandottes!
And that's it for now... I've big dreams!

Oh I also have a big coop and run full of a bunch of birds of many breeds.
