Yep, I am totally addicted now! And I am gonna be sooo much more attached to these chicks I can tell! Hatching is definitely the way to go!!!

The last two eggs have pipped!! Now if they will only hatch. The first one to pip pipped a hole that I can see through. He is just resting inside breathing regularly, but he doesnt seem to want to come out. He pipped yesterday at 2:00 pm. He is LAZY!!! LOL

Now I've done it! The little guy is lonely so he has become a lap chickie until the others hatch. He is eating and drinking well, too.

I think that after they pipped for over 24 hours that it may be a good idea to start helping him hatch. Check the stickies on how to do that.

Ok, I took off a bit of his shell. heis breathing beneath the membrane. I am scared to do too much with the membrane. I will keep watching him. Should I take off all the shell on the big end?

If you take off shell then you need to make sure and keep the membrane moist...try wrapping it in a warm wet cloth while it is in the bator. Once the shell is removed, thats when the membrane starts drying out.
I hope its gonna pop out soon!
