These guys were just hatched about 4-5 days ago.

Plans for next batch IF I can line them up to be shipped/arrive to me close to the same day:

and will fill the remaining with my production RIR

DON' TOUCH HER NECK! we (me and skit) Helped 3 out and didn't uncurl their neck till a day or so They will do fine but DON'T even try to uncurl it you may kill him/her. 1 out of the ones we helped died

I hope so. I am looking at increasing my flock with dual purpose birds. I have 11 production RIR girls and am averaging 7 eggs a day right now.

I work in a greenhouse with a lot of spanish ladies. They buy all the eggs I can bring in and any extra 'cull' chickens for the soup pot. They prefer fresh over store bought any day.

So I figure I NEED more chickies! LOL.

Big Red, WOW!!! looks like you want to make a contest between me and you on who gets lot of chickens lol (joking) That is what I call lots of chickens although you need more

you must make a dual purpose like Knight Hawk Ranch too! I can't imagine how can you people take care of lots of chicks! the biggest amount of chicks i've raised is 33 AND I CAN'T STAND their CHIRPING!!! it gets me nuts!

but sure they are pretty. I hope I had that experience on taking care of that many chicks
