Ok one 50lb bag chick starter for now. One more quick question though, grit, the guy at the feed store . when I asked for baby chick grit said and I quote " its all the same they will just pick out what the want" True or false? should I pick up a smaller grit or is there really a smaller grit size for babies? Im such a twit I should have did more reading, I could have sworn they said chick grit?
Seems like all Ive done lately was get on here everyday for the last month and read read read, apparently I should have done even more reading. LOL OH well this is gonna be so great if i can just get it off the ground in the first place.

Thanks so much guys...It's not the first time these dogs have done something like this...They go into other people's yard and gardens and just make a mess...the owner I really like, but she's just not responsible...Roxanne is in a brooder box with food and water and resting quietly...

Breed is silkie one of 3... she stopped setting on two eggs... opened them one was fully developed but died and the other stopped developing at some point...she is still setting on one egg...

well it is true they will pick almost all. And yes there is a baby grit size
