My Honey has started laying! I know... Excited over weird trivial things as laying an egg... Sheesh... YES YES YES! *doing the peepee pants dance* LOL

Need some breed info. Never researched this breed before, but just ran across an ad for a frizzled Silver Pheonix. I have a frizzled breeding project, and am in need of another rooster.

Would this rooster be big enough to cover LF hens? I asked the seller to give me a weight, since I read they come in LF and bantam.

How are they personality wise? I would be using him to cover EEs and I think the color combo would be awesome. But don't want flighty birds.

I don't have a frizzled phoenix... I didn't even know there was such a thing honestly.

I do have a Mr. Ed... Mr. Ed has a weird hareem of ladies. I decided to not bother locking him up for the tail growth because Blue Boy ripped out his long feathers. Rotten turd. Anyway, Mr. Ed has collected a pair of silkies ( I KNOW RIGHT!), a faverolles, a black serema and I swear, if I ever decide to I don't know... hatch anything from those combos... those would be some true funky chickens.

On the other hand... Blue Boy is just impressive...

I was very shocked when I read the ad. I've only ever seen Cochins and my own barn yard mix frizzles. I am anxiously awaiting the sellers reply. He would look really cool covering my gold wheaten colored girls.

When spring comes and Honey lays regular, the first round is either going under a broody or into the incubator... Wanna see how they turn out... Will consider a trade first though. I send you a dozen, you send me a dozen.

Guys, could you get some pics of large fowl Phoenix roosters an gen next to bantam Phoenix and other breeds, so I can see the size comparison please

I have few for you to choose from I mostly have bb reds but I do have a pair of red pyle, I have a silver phoenix hen that I could breed to one of my light bb reds to create a golden phoenix, That is all I have. Oh and to others, there is no such thing as frizzle phoenix.least not pure bred. They would be be project cross breeds . Toni Marie had made a few years back but think those are gone
