Got the stud cock from a friend that had know idea of blood line. He is a cull. He is one that gets to free range he is good yard art. He is from birds that have the nmg .
 
I love mine but have cost me a lot of time and money I had to get birds shipped . I don't know how much you know about them but they do need a lot of room and sand floors in pens . also high perch's. boggy might be able to fix you up with some .
 
Unless you have aggressive breeds, I've never heard or seen of hens not getting along with other birds. If you're not allowed roosters you won't have any issues. Just treat them as any other breed. The roosters tails are where special care is needed, just for keeping them in good feather condition. Cover pens and bedding is the main thing. I know its a lot of reading , but scan threw this thread . It covers about everything you'd need to know about phoenix care. Shame you can't have males...
