Post Phoenix Pics Please

I have 1 chick that's Blue Sumatra X Golden Phoenix hen (a month old?" but it looks like a normal light golden phoenix

I have new chicks from Blue Sumatra X Blue Wheaten Phoenix Hen. I hatched 4 chicks and each is a different color. First one is orangish with very light back stripe(single comb single spur) chick #2 is white with tiny bits of blue with semi-black legs(pea comb and multi-spurred)
chick #3 is Blue had black legs, pea comb and multi-spurred
chick #4 looks just like a golden Phoenix chick lol.

Oh wow! They sound faboulous...

I am no DNA expert... but I am trying to understand it... so please if I am wrong correct me in what I think I do understand.

So as I understand it Pea Comb is dom, and Single rec, so both parents regardless of their comb type have to be caring the recessive Single if that pops up.

Check out the bottom(sole) of the chicks is it yellow light to bright or pink to white? White is dom, but yellow rec.

I think the multi spur is semi-dom, so that is interesting to see how they spur out.

#2 I wonder what the pattern is (I am just getting ready to try and wrap my head around feathers and pattern DNA). Do you think it is Splash or a totally different pattern?

Is there a difference in egg colour between Sumatras and Phoenixes? Just curious if anyone knows.

I believe everything is Dom over single comb but all offspring carries both traits.

I checked and all chicks have yellow bottoms of feet and chick #3 has black with yellow on,bottom.

for chick #2 , its feathering in a bit and it is white with a hint of blue. Sort of like powdery look. I'll take pictures later or tomorrow when I get on my laptop.

Wow, the chicks sound beautiful. I think you have a nice mix of genes in them. Thanks for the egg info, as I read the discriptions online of what birds lay but I am finding it is not true based on the forums, so now I ask, just currious as I am trying to understand different breeds I want to try and raise in the future.

Has anyone tried crossings with Jungle Fowls?

here are the picture of the chicks. first day I got chick #1 and #2 and second day I got chick #3 and third day I got #4

they are in hatching order (the order I described them as in earlier post)

Just received my first set of these beautiful birds. The hen is broody and sitting on eggs due to hatch next week. I don't know what kind they are though, so maybe you guys can help me out. The roo has a little white on his earlobes and green legs. His comb is long. Blood feathers in his tail (only place I checked). He was born last August.
