Post Phoenix Pics Please

I've been away for the past two years. I lost all my Phoenix bantams in 2012 and I couldn't replace them until now. I just got this pair of bb reds last month. I am expecting a quad of whites from Cy Hyde next week. I'm so excited to get back into raising these awesome birds!

@mopargal1972 woohoo! Congrats! So glad your getting back into raising this wonderful breed. I had a lot of bantams last year and I perfected their weights but none lived over a year and no pulley laid. I was sad because a lot of bantams are oversized. Not that I mind but for shows the smaller the better:) let us know how the whites look:)

mopargal1972,
Gorgeous! Assuming that it is in their genetics, how long does it take for their tails can get that long?

@nikki1496 awesome! If they aren't standard colors they have been crosse to something in the passed which could be why. But if they are standard then it's first I've heard of it. Haha. But nonetheless they are still gorgeous birds. :)

I ended up with a couple pure black hens. I don't know my colors very well and have been trying to figure out what color roo I should match them up with (maybe Birchen?). Would a Birchen female be solid black? For now, I threw the black hens in with a couple blue hens and a blue roo and this morning I just hatched out an all light yellow chick with a small black dot on the top of its head. I am hoping it will be all white but I wonder if the dot on top of its head is representative of anything? I know my grizzly barred chicks have the typical white dot on top of their heads. Does a black dot mean anything?
