WOW you guys ~~ TONS of info--thank you!
Toni-marie, you have no idea how much I love that guy. He is SO much fun to watch prance around when we free range in the afternoon. My little serama roo will chase him and he leaps up high and looks down and goes: NA NA NA you can't catch me".

These belong to a friend of mine who purchased my entire stock about 6 years ago and that I received stock back from in 2010.

@ongadori
WOW! Those are gorgeous. Makes me wish mine were that long!

It's been awhile, so, here's an update on mine.

This is Carolina. She's a sweetheart-the most people friendly Phoenix I've met/ I got her at the Ohio National. They had some great Phoenix there.

Here's a current pic of Lincoln, he's two now. His tail is 27 and a half inches.

This one is from Februrary, Lincoln again, you can see the tail better in it.

And the newest one, Blackie. I got him free off of a friend who bought him at a show and was planning to butcher him for meat because his crows woke her up too early. I think he might be a bantam but I'm not sure.

Yup, that large enough? lol. I was hesitant to paste them all that large and I couldn't get an in between size. From what you can see of the other ones can you tell me what I need to work on? I can post them bigger too if need be. I know Lincoln doesn't have full white on the ear but I have never shown and am still learning so any tips would be very much appriciated.

I would always work on tails first. Full long tails and long saddle feathers. Earlobes are easy! LIKE BLACKY!!!!!! I see sumatra in there! He has red earlobes, but would make a great base for a really nice black line. Phoenix have thicker feathers, but the thinner feathered birds with soft onagadori type feathers grow longer and have a better chance on nonmolting (achieving those long long tails!) You can pm me if you have any questions. I love to talk birds. Is black a bantam or lf?

Mandy!!! What are you doing girl...Your art is so good you may become famous one day... Yes your that good...Another Dian Jackie....Great work girl!!!! TM
