Post Pics Of Orps/ Orpingtons HERE

Here is a group of chicks hatched from Joy's Orps. The splashs are my favorites right now but the others are looking good too.

I am planning on crossing the two lines and see what happens. I am very excited about these chicks.

Here is a older cockerel chick that is hot and holding his wings out and down trying to stary cool yesterday. He looks better than this photo and he and his brother and sister are growing by leaps and bounds daily right now.

Nice babies Julie. Let's get Charlie a girl like Joy's Clemntine to play with. I think you two ladies will be or are already making better UK Blues then the best UKers. lololol

Some Joy birdies keeping cool!

We're working on getting Charlie a Clementine girl or two to play with...Clementine just isn't cooperating too much right now - she thinks it is too hot for her to lay very often !!!

And THANKS for the compliment...Julie and I are in cahoots trying to get some Blues and Blacks to make the UK breeders drool !!! LOL

Julie - The babies are looking really good. I'd love to see a better shot of that little splash - she looks quite stocky and solid.

Sandy - Goodness, those chicks have grown !! They look wonderful. I am in love with that one pullet and the other pullet and, well, okay, the little splash boy too !!! And what color is that last guy? He looks like a beautiful shade of auburn ???

Aveca - Where are you located? might be able to help you out in the near future wtih a black cockerel.

I'm very pleased with how your chicks are growing out, going to be big birds. Splash is my favorite color in Orp!

My Charlie Blue (snot boy) mean bugger! is the Julie Charlie guy I hatched out, auburn on his back as he is in the sun alot!!! No shade except the coop.
