I'm getting some Cream Legbars as I cant find any orps! Bella can hatch BO's next year!

Creme Legbars are cool. Don't know about temperament but any crested bird that lays a blue egg is cool in my book lol. Do get Bella buff orp eggs though next year or we'll all be swimming over to pinch you.

I will! I just couldn't find any decent ones! Its a shame as there was loads earlier on in the year!

Orpingtons great layers. Mine started laying at 5 months... Have a question to anyone with the answer to this question........ Collect eggs every evening as my girls don't lay till the afternoon. I live in Texas where temps last week were 3 digits.... Have had 4 eggs so far that have been hard boiled! I can't believe it. Anyone ever hear of such a thing. This is not a joke!

yes hupp farms in arizona had some hard boiled too..he set the basket down for just a min to do something and they hardboiled..
