I was honestly shocked when the dragonladys birds indeed started laying as she said..I thought, Oh Im further north..they will probably start later on..nope..walked out one day and there was a nice egg..I thought lord ..thats early..

Same here. My pullets from dragon lady started laying at around 4 1/2 months. None of my other orps started laying that early, even the hatchery ones. But then, she bred them and I followed her suggestions. Good quality feed, Calf manna thrown in, but that eye of newt I think did it.

Finally had a sunny day to take a few pics ") 3 Young fellows I hatched out this Season. Each has a different hatch date.... thus explaining the different stages of maturity.... also... Our weather has been hard on my birds in the grow out yards... soo their conditioning could certainly be better.
