Finally had a sunny day to take a few pics ") 3 Young fellows I hatched out this Season. Each has a different hatch date.... thus explaining the different stages of maturity.... also... Our weather has been hard on my birds in the grow out yards... soo their conditioning could certainly be better.

Just a heads up...I would not use that blue rooster for breeding. he appears to have gold leakage on his hackle and shoulder feathers and that can cause HUGE problems down the road in future generations...if you took him to a show they would disqualify him immediately. But if he is just a pet and you are not going to use him for breeding then he will be fine just as a pet the gold leakage does not affect anything but feather color.

Thanx for that. awesome information to know much appreciated. I don't show birds though he just chills in the back yard like he is on holiday accompanied by another three Buff hens. quite interested to see wat comes out to be honest..

My buff Orpington does not seem to be getting any tamer I got her when she was 14 weeks and now it has been 3 weeks and I can not see much improvement any tips/advise

Give me an idea of her day..like
Interactions daily with you..kids..animals..other chickens

I am a kid so I go to school so her day will be just free ranging and being scared of every thing really she is even her food
Then when I get back from school I handle her
