Post Pics Of Orps/ Orpingtons HERE

Very nice looking chicks. They look very English typey with all their Wispy feathers around the legs and breast. I would love to have some buffs looking like that. Keep us posted on how they are turning out please.

So having a little bit of "Cochin-style" around the legs and bottoms is a good thing, then...

I have a couple of boys that are tight and tall and I probably won't keep them. Looking at a few of the photos, some of the roos almost look more like a cochin/orpington cross to me.

Yes they are bare legged but their feathers reach almost to the floor from their underside. They are big fat birds under all those feathers too. The roo seems to be a little over feathered on his back, I just hope he grows into them! It looks like a mohawk along his back!!! None of the chicks are overweight, these are just round birds and were from day 1.

Yes it is obviouse which one is the cockerel. They are little chunkers. I love fat chicks. I have had some that weighed heavy at 8 weeks like several pounds.

Sarah - I love the look of your buff babies. I am like Julie, I love big fat chicks. Yours definitely have an "English" look to them. Please do keep posting photos as they grow. Would love to see them all grown up.

Here are a few photos of mine that I took today.

LOL...well, I am about 99% sure Bluebell is a Belle...LOL. But I could be wrong, these little buggers can fool you sometimes. Here is another picture of her....a better one, I think.
