lildinkem,
That splash cockerel is just super.

kathyinmo,
I was told Dick Horstman's birds are super sized and had great lacing. I have attend several shows hoping to see his birds exhibited but seems I go to the wrong shows. I may have to try and get a few in future, good luck with them.

Harry I need to thank julie again. It is her work. And I agree he looks great to me. He for sure will be a busy young man this coming year.

Better angle, but still a bit blury.

I also like this angle too. Really is a nice boy. He'll soon be the only boy in there with them girls.

lildinkem,
With a bird like that you are going to have an excellent breeding season coming up for this spring. Plus your hens look real nice. Hope you use him to the ultimate limits. I would breed him with all my females if I had him. Good luck, you are very fortunate to have such a jem.

Harry I totally agree. I am going to pimp him out he is that nice. I like the type, fluff, width is good. I love the Black pullet too. Lets hope to get some Blacks lookin like him.

My luck is going. Look at these two Whites I picked up at our State Fair. Doug introduced me to the guy who's White Orpington cock took reserve. He sold me not hatching eggs, but the two other Whites he was showing. Their young and still need to fill out some.
I have to thank Jack for these even being available. He is the guy incharge of filling up our Fairs cages with quality. I think Jack is a GOD.

Now for something totally different
In 1946 this was the Sh!t IF you like Orps.
This bird took First Prize White Orpington cockerel and Show Champ at Madison Square Garden New York City in 1946.
I can only hope to make some Whites like this fella

Here are my two Whites. I called the guy who put on our local Indiana State Fair. He said it had been 7 years since a White Orp was shown. Jack is an Old School String man who does fill up the cages. Well over 2000 entries. And he had one String man bring in his Whites. Doug introduced me, and I did not waste one click of the clock and asked IF he could help me get some. Now this guy sold me these two for what he wanted $60, I gave him $70. Some call it tipping, I call it being smart and burnin no bridges. His White took Reserve of the breed and only Doug's Buff could beat him. I got his cockerel and pullet. He has gotten biggger just in the month I have had him. Hope you guys like him. I hope to make a few more like this by hook or crook. lolol
