You are funny! Well at the moment I can't breed, most know this already. In about 3-4 years we plan to move to a more farm-like home and then I will go CRAZY!!

LOL I'm already CRAZY so what will I become them!

If your like me, were those crazy chicken people. You can't get anymore crazier. lolol
I am on 3 acres, and am now having to thin the number of breeds to what I want to raise just to do Orpingtons better. I have to be ready to have room for more Whites next spring. And with the White I have Cuckoos and Lavs to work with. And my one Lav split Black pullet has a huge head, and will be used more then just for Lavs, I can always use a big headed Black Orpington line
I used to not be a project person. BUT, I see a need for projects.
Here are the Cuckoo Lav split Orpington projects cockerels who just got moved in.

I put these boys in with my lite eye Black girls and one or two who were from the Cuckoo Wyandotte cockerel sneak over back in May Black pullets.

Ok. At the district show there were my birds, one other BO and some black australorps. My hen won BV/BB and English champ and roo won RV/RB and reserve English.
My daughter had some of our youngsters in juniors. A pullet got BV/BB and reserve English behind a black australorp.

White Wyandotte won grand LF and a RIR won reserve LF. Not sure what won super grand of show.

Thanks Ruth, Germaine, and Katy. I am so surprised .... these 2 pullets are really developing this past month. I am excited to see how they look in another couple months. You all know I am not a show person. Never have shown, and likely never will. I just like nice pretty stock.

I love looking at everyone's pictures. Keep 'em coming!

I am making sure to get some hatched from my Indiana Black Orpington breeder's line (RUSS MILKEY) on my biggest 1st generation removed from my pure original Black lines cock "Flozelle".

The cock I call Flozelle, sired the cockerel on the far right, the Blue on the left is L A R S who is half Bamma's APA SOP line.
