Post Pics Of Orps/ Orpingtons HERE

Nice trio! Nice even color. Looks like some nicer tails. Hard to say with a side view how broad, but they look good size for 7 month oles and should do well in making some great Buff Orp chicks for you.
CONGRATS!!

Thankyou

My cockerel is really nice and broad as well as my one pullet. The other pullet has the nicest coloring. Sorry to hear of your predator troubles and hope you kill whatever it is!

That is great to hear. Hope they make some more like them.
I did one thing right and break up my flock into three different grow out pens. And pulled out 5 from that pen before all this started up.

I really am thinking these two are from DOC. I read some of my notes from early April and on 04/07/10 I put in 7 eggs from DOC over my 2 backup Blacks and a Bamma BLUE hen.
I see DOC's comb on the Black. He looks more like the UK 50%er I have as a Splash cockerel in type.
So I believe Boss Hogg is now SIR BOSS HOGG

I'm really liking the way these are turning out... 6 months old... there are two more that were too shy to have their picture taken.

Thanks gals! I'm particularly drawn to the boy, too... I try not to get attached, cuz you know how it goes with the boys, but he's a keeper.

I think I will like LENI

He stood there with this goofy pose for two mins as I took his pics and others. Never budged.
He thinks he is big

Glad I have Blacks getting use to Leni
This girl will serve him well

Another younger one

8 month ole Bamma Black pullet. Again a great bird to have and use with my leggier birds. Like Leni

We had some 75 mph winds yesterday that flipped over my pen with my BBS Orps I shown last week. They stood there in the downpour and just wondered what this water stuff is coming from the sky? lolol The bigger they get the slower they get. Especially with a quart of water soaked into them. We're all rounded up no one hurt.
On the predator hunt. Since Pockets made herself present the other nite we have yet to have another attack. I pulled in my traps. Gave the bait birds back to their cages. And KORgo is back as master trainer for the young juvies. And seeing how eager L A R S is I can say for certain there will be some more from these fellas.
