Your new Bamma pullets are awesome. I am sure I am not the only one who is jealous.
I am just scratching the surface of fun I am yet to have. I will have 7 Black and Blue pens. Each with one cock/cockerel.
Lots of fun!

I'm pretty happy with them. I'm working mostly on my English Orps. Right now I have built my flock to ten 100% English birds (slow going with only one hen and she is molting now and is not laying). BUt I'm really going to have fun putting my English roosters over some 75% English birds this spring. Can't wait to see the results.

WOW - 7 pens of blue and blacks !! You're going to have a lot to choose from. I'm sure you'll get some fine looking birds.

I have to say originally I had fears of the numbers of quality Black and Blue orpington breeders would be too low to get any good blood to make my flock thrive, but now with you and Julie I am good to go. I will have three pens with only the UK look going. Then four of the original lines. 4 separate pens with these 4 hens in each pen. Not counting what I keep from this years grow out Black and Blue pens. Besides DOC and the new Blue Splash cockerel I will keep two or three back up Blues. And who knows how many Black backups. I have to work on my White Orps and the plan is to use the best of the best no matter what the color is.

She sounds like my Peachie. She loves to snuggle and is always chattering to me.

That's what makes them so special.
