Yeah- when she got a bit older her butt fluff was really full and dark. Almost like she was buff with a columbian gene or something. They were good birds, as far as hatcheries go. My neighbor has a whole coop full from Meyer. They are more consistant in color and all, but compared to my BQ blues they look tiny.
 
Here are my two orpingtons, Raptor (splash) and Evie (blue). They are already bigger than my black bantam rock roo

and they are only 8 weeks old! Here they are with Piper and Hurley, the d'uccles, with whom they are very attached. I hope they turn out well, give me your input, what do you guys think of them so far? btw. Evie is quite a bit darker in color in real life.
