ALL Orpingtons are "ENGLISH" by breed classification. At a show ALL large fowl orpingtons are entered in the SAME category/class, ENGLISH. It is up to the judge to decide which bird meets the American SOP and which bird does not.
Ruth- how do you get your auctions in your signature? I need to do that....
Thanks - that's kind of the way I understood it (about showing them) though it can be confusing. They are entered as English Orpingtons but will be judged on the American SOP, since it's an APA show, which differs from the English SOP.

It was under the profile settings. I'll go look and see if I can find where it was.
I can't seem to find it. It might have also been when I made the listings - it might have asked if I wanted it to show in my signature line but I thought I found it somewhere udner profile settings but can't seem to find it now. I saw it on someone else's signature nd just kept clicking till I stumbled upon it and now I don't know where it was. Anyone else know???
