well yesterday i had my first show with my orpingtons.my black orp rooster denzel got best in breed,resereve largefowl an reserve champ jr's.my blue pullet blueberry got resereve best in breed.i was soooooooooo happy an i made alot of money selling chicks.

I have them - three separate lines. Right now I am filling back orders for eggs and chicks - but I should have some available in June (maybe sooner depending on the lay).

My broody orpington, Gloria, has accepted the chicks that we tucked under her this weekend! I'm glad, because when we pulled the eggs (or rather, most of the eggs) out from under her and slipped the first 3 chicks under her she tried to peck me, hard! Fortunately it was dark and she missed, but I shudder to think what would happen to one of the babies if she had hit them with a blow like that.
