Post Pics Of Orps/ Orpingtons HERE

The 2 big splashes look like girls to me.
Alright, here are some pictures of the babies. Supposed to be 75% English Orpington. There are 7 of them; 2 Splash [that are massive in size and seem to be growing tail feathers of the American Orpington, 1 small black one, 2 small gray ones, and 1 small splash.

Can anyone explain why the 2 splashes are 3x the size of the others???

And...I think everyone is right about Beast. He's looking EXTRA red today in the face.

Sorry that the picture quality isn't the best, iphone camera isn't all they made it out to be! lol

This is BLACKIE

See how RED he is today!

Small splash! There's such a size difference between them!

I've never seen babies consume as much start and grow as these!!! I'm refilling 2 dog bowls 2x daily for them and when I put the food down they all pounce on it as if they've never eaten before! Silly chickens.

My chicks were the same way and even still (they are a couple months old now) They act like you haven't feed them in weeks and really they were out for a couple of minutes

I'm with thedragonlady. Those other spashes are girls. In my experience, it seems some have like an "eating gene" or something - they just eat like mad and grow like mad. Then there's regular and runt sizes. lol - like ordering a drink at the burger place. I'll have a large, please.

Your Orp K WILL fill out. He is quite nice for his age, and the girl is lovely. What line are they from? These big boys need time, and a lot of good food to grow up. What are you feeding? Try adding 1/4 cup a day of Calf Manna to his feed. It will make a huge difference, and worm him with Safeguard Liquid Goat Wormer. Dosage is 1 teaspoon in 1 gallon of water, made fresh daily for 3 days. Makes a huge difference.
Thank you! Having a hard time finding Calf Manna in town so I will continue my hunt. Someone has to carry it! I did worm them all back in September. :D I have been feeding the roosters mostly Flockraiser for now.

Those roosters are so handsome!! What kind of camera are you using to shoot these photo's, the color is amazing!!
Thank you so much. My side job is a photographer so I have a really nice dslr with a slew of nice sharp lenses and I edit my photos a little bit. (I shoot in raw format so my camera does not edit the image like point and shoots do, I choose to make those color, contrast etc selections on my own later).

Any horse or cattle feed store should have Calf Manna, as does TSC.Hopefully the girls are getting Flockraiser too. They are still growing too!
What did you use to worm them? Wazine only gets round worms.

I used Ivermectin for worming.I will check TSC- maybe I am overlooking it. I walked up and down the isles. I got a little lost around that stuff. We do Flockraiser (I really wish I could find this in pellet form) and layer pellets fortified with Omegas, oyster shell offered freely as well. Will be adding Ultra Kibble to their diet with some oats and flax seed for a small daily snack. Will also be adding some BOSS to their diet. They free range and do a wonderful job- busy busy busy.
